Palo santo is amazing on its own, but it can be hard to light and people often complain that it produces very little smoke. Infused palo santo lights more easily and stays lit longer. It also produces more smoke and the smoke is more aromatic. This Patchouli Infused Palo Santo is for you if you’re ready for some powerful healing and sensual magic.

The deeper magic of my Patchouli Infused Palo Santo

Palo santo is a sacred wood that grows in South America. When Spanish monks discovered its clearing and healing properties, they named it “Palo Santo” which means “holy wood.” The sweet and mellow aromatic oils of palo santo develop over time after the tree has naturally fallen and spent years on the ground. Palo santo has been used as indigenous medicine by shamans and healers in South America for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Its clean, woodsy fragrance is known to clear negative energies, strengthen the spirit, and make way for high vibrations of positivity, peace, and balance to flow in. It’s a staple for healers. I keep it around whenever I need energetic clearing, or when someone in my home is sick.

The essence of patchouli digs deep. It helps to break long-held patterns of shame and low self-worth, inspiring balanced introspection and real self-love in turn. At Sage Goddess, we only use sustainably sourced palo santo wood and oils. Our Peruvian partners only harvest wood that has died naturally and has been dead for at least 5 years. We never harm living trees! The dead wood is collected, cleaned, and cut by hand. Also, we are committed to replanting trees in the forests where we find our wood. This ensures that our palo santo forests are not susceptible to over-harvesting.
