Abundance, good fortune, and prosperity. That is my prayer for you, and that is what I extend to you with these Coconut Prosperity Bowls. As we journey into the mysticism, traditions, and beauty of India this month, I can think of no better way to honor and uphold the vast richness of this ancient culture than with one of the country’s essential symbols and offerings — the coconut.

These Coconut Prosperity Bowls are such a sweet treat. Made from the shells of coconuts, these offering bowls are filled with goodies that include intuitively selected jewelry, stones and specimens, a votive and statue, and a bottle of my Lakshmi Perfume to honor the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity — treasures totaling over $75 in value.

With the arrival of spring, this Coconut Prosperity Bowl will make a beautiful and timely addition to your meditation room or altar, further sealing the intention of bountiful growth, abounding prosperity, and unending fortune — characteristic of the season and the auspicious coconut.

The deeper magic of these Coconut Prosperity Bowls

The coconut is a symbol of good luck and prosperity in the Hindu culture and religion. Known as “Sriphal” in Sanskrit, coconut translates to “God’s fruit” or “the fruit of the gods.” Regarded as the symbol of Ganesha, the Hindu god of fortune, abundance, and removal of obstacles, coconuts are used in all religious functions. It is an essential offering in almost all rituals of Hinduism and is placed in Hindu temples as a symbol of the completeness of life.

Because of its association with fortune and prosperity, the coconut is used in the beginning of every new venture. The coconut is cracked open and placed in front of a statue or figure of the god Ganesha, because he assists in the successful completion of any venture or task undertaken. Spiritually, breaking a coconut symbolizes surrendering the ego and humbling yourself before God. When the coconut is cracked open, the hard shell of ignorance and ego is smashed, giving way to inner purity and knowledge, which is represented by the white, milky insides of the coconut.

Place your Coconut Prosperity Bowl on your altar, using its treasures and tools to call in the beauty and bounty of spring, and to connect with Ganesha. If you are starting a new venture, work with these tools and set your written intentions in your coconut bowl. Anoint yourself with my Lakshmi Perfume, conjuring the qualities of pleasure, wealth, love, beauty and abundance, and witness how all you desire is brought to you with ease, grace, and fortune.

May the god of good luck and abundance bring you abounding fortune and prosperity in all you do.

This listing is for one (1) Coconut Prosperity Bowl, with one (1) bottle of Lakshmi Perfume and a selection of intuitively selected treasures. The coconut bowl is about 2.75” tall and 3” wide and holds 4 oz. Yours will arrive lovingly parceled for your enjoyment and delight.
