The rattle itself if nice sized and does the appropriate sound. However, I always take a chance when getting instruments and end up getting not my colors for water, blue/purple/teal [which are always the ones in the pictures] with accents but ALWAYS get HOT colors of RED/ORANGE/CORAL/YELLOW with WHITE accents. *Sigh*
