Did you know that incense was the first form of perfume? The word ‘perfume’ literally means ‘through smoke,’ and our ancestors used incense to scent their bodies. Burning incense is a great way to smudge and connects us with the ancients in a powerful and beautiful way.

You will receive the following:

One (1) 2 oz jar of my Passion Incense 2.0, handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess. The magic of this blend lies in its ingredients: Damiana, red rose petals, cacao powder, cinnamon bark, vanilla bean, ginseng, and amber. It’s also infused with a tumbled carnelian for extra passion and stamina **wink.**

• Damiana, known as the Love Herb, intensifies passion and increases pleasure. It’s a sexy, fiery herb that warms you up, eases tension, enhances stamina, and lowers inhibitions.

Essential oil-infused palo santo is something special, custom-made here at Sage Goddess Headquarters. It took us months to cultivate this process, and it’s proprietary! Palo santo is amazing on its own, but it can be hard to light, and people often complain that it produces very little smoke. Infused palo santo lights more easily and stays lit longer. It also produces more smoke, and the smoke is more aromatic. The properties of rose and amber are described above.

At Sage Goddess, we only use sustainably sourced palo santo wood and oils. Our Peruvian partners only harvest wood that has died naturally and has been dead for at least five years. We never harm living trees! The dead wood is collected, cleaned, and cut by hand. In addition, we are committed to replanting trees in the forests where we find our wood. This ensures that our palo santo forests are not susceptible to over-harvesting.

Note: Always burn herbs, resin, and incense in a heat-proof burner, dish, or bowl.

NOTE: After lighting an infused palo santo stick, hold it upright so the flame can grow and continue to burn for a few seconds before you blow it out. This will allow the wood to heat to a higher temperature and the stick to smoke longer.
