The deeper magic of my Of Light and Shadow Sticker
Shadow season is powerful and mysterious. It calls to your soul with whispers in the night. As the veil thins, the spirit world draws near. Ghosts of the past return for acknowledgment. All things in hiding peek out. Skeletons come out of the closet. It can seem like all this is coming at you, but it’s really coming from you. It’s an invitation to meet yourself – all of you – dark, light, and all shades in between.
Moths are messengers of the night. Like butterflies, moths undergo metamorphosis and represent the process of transformation. But unlike butterflies, moths are nocturnal and transform within cocoons, which provide more shelter. Moth spirit animal can indicate a need to be extra sheltered and protective of our inner selves. Moths rely on different senses than butterflies: The moth, active at night, cannot rely on its sight. Like the moth, we must learn to trust our inner vision during shadow season.
Mushrooms illuminate shadows and help bring things buried in the subconscious to the surface, so you can face them and integrate them. Some say mushrooms originated from other planets in the solar system and that they’re here on Earth to activate consciousness.
Shadow season is upon us, which means it’s time for shadow work. My Of Light and Shadow Virtual Retreat is all about integrating our shadow with our light. Our shadow is a natural part of us – It’s where we have hidden repressed aspects of ourselves, both positive and negative.
