The Properties of Fascia Jasper
Fascia jasper is a combination of jasper and agate. It’s a pseudomorph of quartz after calcite (jasper is a variety of quartz). A pseudomorph forms when one mineral replaces another but retains the structure of the original mineral. The quartz in this stone shows up as clear to smoky and sometimes even amethyst.
