Sage Goddess Apothecary

This offering is exclusive to members of our Sage Goddess Apothecary program. Apothecary invites you into a realm of deep magic, reconnecting with the Earth through plant wisdom, gemstones, and goddess archetypes. 

Each month in Apothecary, we’ll work with a different Goddess archetype as a sacred guide and the lessons she brings. It’s a deep dive into the mystical and healing associations of the herbs, flowers, resins, and gemstones of each archetype. We’ll explore them in a way that we never have before. Touching them, smelling them, healing with them, and even creating art with them.

In May Apothecary, we’re focusing on Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers and spring. Together, we’ll work with the tools in this set to find the beauty within and embrace life in full bloom.

Who is Flora?

In ancient Roman mythology, Flora was a nymph who transformed into a beautiful goddess after a kiss from Zephyrus, god of the west wind. The Romans regarded her as one of the most important gods in their sprawling pantheon. As the goddess of flowers, plants, and fertility, they looked to her to provide them with a fruitful crop.

Each spring, the Romans held a festival in Flora’s honor filled with games, dancing, flowers, and colorful clothing. Known as the Floralia, this joyous holiday was one of the major events on the Roman calendar. It’s a time to welcome the arrival of spring, celebrate beauty, and pray for continued fertility and abundance!

With this paintbrush pouch, you can take your brushes with you on the go. Bring them on your nature walks, take them with your travels, or pack them for your paint-and-sip nights with friends. Who knows when or where inspiration will strike!

May Apothecary Herbs

Size: Vials about 4”

We chose these herbs to align with and enhance the energies of our monthly themes and archetypes. This month’s herbs are extra special because they can all be used to create natural inks and dyes. Blend custom colors with them and pair them with your paintbrushes to create beautiful works of art!

They will come lovingly packaged in brown glass vials with cork stoppers adorned with the Sage Goddess Apothecary logo. For May, you will receive the following herbs:

• Butterfly pea flower is a transformative herb that brings protection and is especially powerful for working with the Moon. It also attracts love and soothes stress and tension.
• Hibiscus promotes relaxation and love. It symbolizes the Divine Feminine and its ability to nurture, heal, and create.
• Elderberry has been used by healers since ancient times to promote both physical and spiritual wellness. It brings deep healing, protection, and purification and promotes rebirth and new beginnings.

May Apothecary Oils

Size: About 1 ml each 

Like the herbs, we chose these oils with the intention of supporting and elevating the month’s themes and evoking the energies of the month’s archetypes. Each oil is blended with jojoba. It comes in an amber-colored glass bottle with a roller ball applicator and gold cap. For May, you will receive the following oils:

• Jasmine carries an uplifting vibration that brings pure light and joy. It arouses sensuality and attracts physical and spiritual love, as well as all kinds of abundance.
• Gardenia is an oil of purity, spirituality, peace, compassion, and love. It helps you reach deep within yourself and illuminates what has been hidden from your view. 
• Tuberose is an aphrodisiac that attracts love. It’s also calming, bringing ease to the body and providing a deep sense of peace.

May Apothecary Offerings

Each monthly Apothecary tool kit includes an offering to add to your offering bowl during our sessions. It comes lovingly packaged in a burlap drawstring bag adorned with the Sage Goddess Apothecary logo. For May, you will receive mixed calendula and pink rose flower petals, flower-shaped seed paper, sugar beads, and rock sugar.

• Calendula is a powerful healing herb that detoxifies and purifies. It helps to repair the aura and brings protection. Calendula also inspires optimism, vitality, and positivity and attracts success in every area of life.
• Rose has one of the highest vibrational frequencies of all plants. It’s a flower of promises, new beginnings, hope, and healing and promotes happiness and commitment.
• Sugar represents the sweetness in life and encourages us to connect with energies of joy, optimism, and gratitude. 

125 ml Apothecary Jar 

Size: About 4.5”

This round glass jar with a glass cap is painted a beautiful teal color. Teal resonates with the element of water and the Throat Chakra, bringing flow to communication and learning. Think of the way an ocean moves. It flows free and wild, surging with a natural tide, allowing and not resisting.

This month’s jar is printed with the word ‘beauty.’ It reminds us stop, smell the flowers, and find joy and rejuvenation in the bountiful spring colors that surround us.

30 ml Apothecary Jar 

Size: About 3”

This set comes with a second teal glass jar for holding the inks and dyes you create with your herbs. Get creative with your combinations, experiment with the colors you blend, and work them into your art and journaling practice!

Herbal Oracle Cards 

Size: About 4×6” each 

Each month, our tool kits include three cards featuring stunning artwork by my talented team of designers. These will enable you to gradually assemble a complete herbal oracle card deck by the year’s end. Every card showcases the metaphysical connections and properties of the herb alongside an oracle message tailored to each herb’s essence. In May, you will receive cards for butterfly pea flower, hibiscus, and elderberry.
