As most of you know, I’m a Leo, and what Leo doesn’t love a big cat? These Power Puma Carvings are for all of us who are feline at heart. The puma is a symbol of strength, wisdom, and intelligence. This cat is known by many names including the cougar and mountain lion. The name puma comes from the Incas and the Quechua language. It represents the Kay Pacha, a Quechua word that means “the world of the living.” These pieces were intricately carved in Peru out of alabaster, a stone that promotes the centering of the self and motivates mental stimulation. If you’re ready to step into your power, this is your offering.

The deeper magic of these Power Puma Carvings

The Andean puma is a subspecies of the puma that inhabits the territories of South America. This strong, agile creature adapted to the tropical areas as well as the rugged terrains of the Andes Mountains. The puma was a divine animal to the Incas – one that represented the power of the world. It’s believed that Cusco, the capital of the Incan empire, has the shape of a puma and its head was the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the major military base that’s such an impressive work of engineering that it’s compared with the Roman Colosseum.

When the puma spirit animal shows up in your life, you’re ready to learn about power. Pumas are one of the most powerful animals, and they’re fast! Puma teaches you to assert yourself, even when others don’t like it. To grow and become who you’re meant to be, you need to move beyond the past – of who you were, what you did, and what you thought. This will make people uncomfortable, but it’s not about them. It’s about you and what your heart calls you to do. Pumas chase after opportunities and act quickly. Puma Medicine is about taking charge of your life and making the most of your circumstances.

These carvings are alabaster, the same stone chumpis are made of. Alabaster works to alleviate the tension that arises when you’re looking for and expecting answers. It’s also a stone that will help deepen your meditation and open your heart to forgiveness.

Hold your Power Puma Carving in meditation or place it on your altar or in your sacred space to receive its medicine. May it help you reconnect with your inner strength and bring that force into the world. May it support you in standing and acting in your authentic power.

This listing is for one (1) Power Puma Carving (about 2-2.5”). Yours will arrive lovingly parceled along with a single leaf of white sage and a card describing the properties of the stone.
