Welcome to a new month of Gem Wise! I am so excited to take this journey deeper into the world of gems and crystals with you. No matter if you’re brand new to gems or more experienced and knowledgeable, this class is a place for all to take their learning deeper. If you’re new to Gem Wise, welcome! And if you were with me in September and October, I hope you enjoyed our classrooms on triclinic and amorphous crystal structure.
To start with, you must remember that crystals grow naturally in the shape of polyhedra, which are solid shapes whose faces are polygons. Crystals are the closest physical representations of the Platonic Solids that we have. Though they are not perfectly formed as Plato’s ideals were, they offer us a good tangible example.
This month, we will be focusing on Synergy 12 crystals. You received gorgeous examples of these in your Gem Wise kits – tektite, danburite, and a gorgeous blue goldstone palm stone printed with “synergy”, which corresponds to this month’s overall course curriculum for ascension and manifestation. Tanzanite offered itself as part of this class, so you will receive this fourth gemstone with your kit this month. When a gift of the Earth, and beyond, specifically makes itself known and available, I am honored to share its medicine with you.
As beings searching and striving for our Soul Purpose, we must have access to our own inner wisdom and deep knowing. If we’re unable to tap into our innate vision, we must practice the energetic work required to uncover it. And we can look to specific crystal energies to activate this latent store of liminal sight. Certain distinct stones and gems vibrate at the exact right frequency to crack your untapped field of vision wide open. They are powerful tools we can use to magnify and direct energy. Crystal structure is truly a magical thing.
Synergy 12 Crystals
The Synergy 12 is a group of high-vibrational crystals believed to activate the light body and enhance and accelerate the process of spiritual evolution and ascension. They are referred to as the most powerful combination ever discovered for harmonic activation of the entire human energy field. These precious stones have the ability to activate an uplifting balance and alignment of the etheric self – including the physical, magnetic, electromagnetic, and auric fields, as well as the causal, subtle, and astral bodies. They work together to facilitate higher states of consciousness. What we realize in higher states of consciousness can be planted, as a seed, in us, grounded in the Root Chakra. The Synergy 12 crystals include petalite, moldavite, phenacite, danburite, azeztulite, brookite, satyaloka quartz, scolecite, tanzanite, tektite, herderite, and natrolite. Phenacite, brookite, satyaloka quartz, and herderite are rare, often difficult to find. Azeztulite is trademarked, making it quite expensive. The other crystals are generally easier to source, but quality should always be researched and confirmed. Collectively, this magical group not only helps us reach higher states of consciousness, it assist in grounding, synthesizing, balancing, and filtering energy on all levels of our beings.
Each of the Synergy 12 crystals is also associated with a sign of the zodiac. United, they represent the entire zodiac, from Aries to Pisces, the infinite beginning to ending, and ending to beginning. The zodiac encompasses what we know as energy, in its varying qualities, elements, and modalities – expressed as the astrological signs. The Synergy 12 is another version of this concept; of working with the whole to understand, develop, and strengthen the parts. Your life literally changes when you come online with your destiny, through inner awakening. The Synergy 12 stones open your ability to visualize and manifest your desires, in alignment with your life’s purpose. Tektite

Tektite is natural meteoric glass from outer space. Some people believe it originates from our moon or the planet Mars. Scientists debate whether it is truly meteorite, or a blending of Earthly and extraterrestrial material. The name tektite comes from the Greek word tektos, meaning “molten”. Tektite is found strewn across fields of the world, but the greatest source is in fields of China and Indochina. Stories about the significance of tektite are tied to many cultures. It is called Saimantakimani in India, the “sacred gem of Krishna”. The Sanskrit word for tektite is agni mani, meaning “teardrops from the moon”. Australian aborigines believe finding a piece brings good luck, referring to them as maban or “magic”. Polynesian tribal elders trusted tektite as a bringer of wealth and fertility, for the individual and tribe.
Tektite can raise our vibrational levels, and expand our energy fields and consciousness. It stimulates the natural course of growth and development. It kindles inner strength required to choose the best course of action in any given circumstance, and encourages follow-through to completion. A powerful ally in learning, tektite opens and strengthens connections with various knowledge sources. If we are aware, it will decrease the need to repeat unpleasant tests and trials. Tektite activates, increases, and enhances the transmission of pertinent information relevant to mundane activities, as well as spiritual evolution. With its potent influence over transmission, it is also able to decrease transmission of disorders and dispel transmitted diseases. This amazing crystal helps us remember our lessons, acquire new information, and move on to actualize and manifest positive experiences.
As an other worldly gem, tektite is well known for aiding and expediting connection with extraterrestrials and all dimensions. It can thin the veil, giving us greater access to what is beyond the perception of our traditional senses. Tektite brings the magical qualities of its origin, which often remains a mystery. When we encounter mystery, the excitement and optimism of potential abounds. Working with your tektite will provide ample opportunity to develop a relationship with it and its home. As you spend the time to connect, you will receive the gifts it wants to offer. It will also strengthen your energy field and support your body in integrating high frequency energies, which are especially critical when working with the Synergy 12.
In the context of Synergy 12, tektite is known as the “Ground Control”, because it helps establish an etheric connection between you and your crystals. Grounding is very important when accelerating the process of spiritual evolution. Danburite

Most danburite comes from Mexico, but other varieties with unique energetic signatures are found in other locations, such as Peru, Madagascar, Bolivia, and Russia. A gem of the heart, danburite inspires the feeling of joy, and communion with the Divine – opening our hearts to receive more compassion, comfort, and communication from our guides and angels. By soothing the heart, easing anxiety, and calming mental chatter, danburite brings peace that precedes our ability to trust in, and intimately connect
with, other beings, realms, and dimensions. It’s the perfect tool to use when opening to channel and for interdimensional travel.
For connection to higher realms, outer realms, extraterrestrial contact, and astral dimensions, danburite is one of the very best gemstone allies you can have by your side. It attunes the upper chakras and brings direct contact with Spirit and the angelic realms. This crystal has a soaring frequency attuned to the Heart and Crown Chakras – serving as a bridge between the two to facilitate heart centered Spirit guidance. Danburite is known as “The DNA Crystal”. Your DNA is a holographic code, a code that is known to all beings across space and time, and a code that is used to access your energetic stream by other conscious beings. Because there are healed versions of you in the holographic realms, you can access your healed codes and bring them into present time, ‘harvesting’ what is needed in order to shift any paradigms of illness or disease. Danburite assists with the energetic flow of the body and can help with realignment through remembrance – helping us remember our codes. With its assistance, our access to memories of ourselves from all time and space become available.
Blue Goldstone

The magic of alchemy! The original creator of this gem captured the night sky, full of twinkling stars, and placed it in our hands. Blue Goldstone is a man-made glass infused with copper particles. It is made by melting silica (sand), copper oxide, borax, and other chemicals that reduce copper to its elemental form. Once the glass reaches liquid form, it is sealed off to prevent continued contact with air, which keeps the glass hot enough for metallic flecks to form, but not to melt.
Legends tell of Italian monks accidentally alchemizing goldstone during their attempts to make gold. We know the Miotti family invented the process of creating goldstone in Venice, during the 17th century. They were granted exclusive production rights and kept the “secret” highly guarded until the 19th century, when they stopped making glass and sold the formula. A goldstone amulet from 12th century Persia still exists, dating the genesis of this sparkling glass back further, but without documented story.
As a man-made crystal, blue goldstone cannot be found in nature. Sometimes we relegate man-made gems to a lesser category. Purists, and those of us with a strong affinity for nature, and things in their unadulterated states, can get stuck in a short-sighted view. What is man? What is creation? Everything originates from Spirit. Everything created is part of Spirit. Therefore, everything is Spirit-made. From this perspective, everything in the world is natural, originating from nature.
Blue goldstone is known as the “stone of ambition”, guiding us to see the light at the end of darkness. It reconnects us with the Divine, provides wisdom, energy, and courage. It is regarded as a protection stone. Vibrating with the frequency of new beginnings and balance, it can be effectively used to set intentions. It is also one of the best gems for empaths and people dealing with hypersensitivity, by protecting, balancing, and enhancing psychic and empathic sensitivities.
Associated with the Throat Chakra, blue goldstone encourages self-acceptance and authentic expression. It assists with learning and communication, increasing telepathic capability. Tanzanite – Bonus Crystal 
Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite that forms prismatic crystals, with orthorhombic crystal structure. It is most often blue to blue-violet in color, but also found in golden-yellow shades. It was discovered in Tanzania, Africa in 1967, and is only found in that location to date. Blue zoisite is its gemologically correct name, but New York jewelry company Tiffany renamed it tanzanite. Two years after its discovery, Tiffany widely advertised tanzanite, bringing it to public awareness. Today, this gem is nearly extinct. Faux tanzanite is rampant on the market, but it does not carry the same properties as natural tanzanite.
Considered one of the most valuable gemstones, tanzanite is highly sought after by those seeking to enhance spiritual perception. The synergy of heart and mind is the path to wholeness. This is the gemstone that most effectively integrates the heart and mind; compassion with reason. It helps keep us centered in our hearts, with open minds.
