I am so happy to have purchased Winter Goddess. Not only do I love the scent, my husband picked it out for me to wear the next time we went to dinner. At dinner, I got compliments from our waitress and the owner of the restaurant asked me where I bought it. Really love the scent. it smells both floral-y and earthy with a hint of winter smoldering. I wish I had bought this sooner! I fell in love with it as soon as I opened it but fell more in love with it the longer it dried on my skin. It is all I want to wear now.
The fir was the first scent I got, followed by a touch a sweetness, then a hint of spruce, followed again by slight sweet florals. Neither the woods nor floral scents are overpowering and somehow are the absolute perfect balance. It dries down to a soft sweet floral but is not overpowering. I normally don’t like florals but love this scent. This perfume is perfect for winter as it is grounding yet empowering. Wearing this perfume helps me feel confident, sexy and magical af!
If you like woodsy scents with a touch of sweetness, this is for you!

I ordered this after much debate, I was nervous about it because I had bought Snow Queen and it wasn’t my favorite. But I’ve had this for not a full week yet, and since it came it’s the only perfume I’ve been wearing! My other 5 bottles (including Druidess who was my #1) and all my little samples are neglected for now, I will have to order more Winter Goddess because I fear I might run out of this one soon!! This is by far my favorite, and my hubs can’t stop smelling me LOL
I’m bad at describing smells, but it’s a lighter scent but still deep if you get my meaning. It mellows soooo nicely, and from the time I first apply it I feel calmer and more centered.
Please never stop making this one Athena!!

All my life I’ve hated winter, which since I live in the Great Lakes region is a crying shame. I’ve been working on fixing that through a variety of spiritual practices including a bit of Wicca and a big chunk of Sage Goddess. Her winter oils have been a big part of that. So last year I chose Snow Queen and Winter Morning, both of which I love, as well as Winter Goddess, which … well. People’s reactions to scents vary all over the map. You will notice another reviewer here, for example, who did not like Snow Queen but loved Winter Goddess. And it’s the case that I have read detailed negative reviews here that helped me decide that I would probably actually *like* a perfume. So:
What I get from Winter Goddess is a brawl: Gardenia and Jasmine fighting noisily to the death while Spruce and Fir weep on the sidelines, wringing their hands and bleating “Can’t we all just get *along*?” They’re really just bystanders in the epic conflict.
I got a major headache every time I tried it, from all the Sturm und Drang. But that’s just me.
