I am so excited for you to experience the magic of these traveling altars. A Tibetan Gau, or Ghau, is a prayer box that can also be used as a portable altar. It is perfect for carrying sacred relics, magical charms, medicinal herbs, and prayer flags, and it also acts as a portable shrine, bringing protection and a sense of reverence when on the road.

The magic of these traveling altars

Constructed of a lightweight metallic alloy, this traveling altar bears the image of a Buddhist deity behind a small Tibetan glass window. The front surface is embossed with beautiful Sanskrit script. Inside the altar are prayer flags and the entire altar fits inside a brocade cloth cover.

Your traveling altar comes with straps and metal buttons and loop fasteners. This beautiful offering can be worn around your neck or from a waist sash or belt.

This listing is for one (1) traveling altar. I have two styles to offer you: round (about 3.6″ in size) and temple (about 3.75″ in size). Yours will arrive lovingly parceled for your enjoyment and delight.

Love,

Athena
