Durga – Durga in Sanskrit means “invincible.” This incarnation of Devi, or the Mother Goddess is the wife of Lord Vishnu. She appeared when evil forces threatened the very existence of the Gods. At the bottom, Kali, Lakshmi, and Sarasvati – the Tridevi (three Goddesses) of the trimurti (Holy Trinity) of Hinduism – are depicted.
Kali – She is the fierce and ferocious form of the Mother Goddess. Believed to be born from the brow of Goddess Durga, she was the wife and shakti of Lord Shiva. Kali represents the destruction of the false consciousness – the ego.
Shiva and Parvati – depicting their Sacred Love and Divine union which gave birth to Ganesha and Skanda.
Lakshmi, Sarasvati, and Ganesha – Lakshmi brings prosperity and wealth, Sarasvati brings knowledge and skill, while Ganesha removes obstacles, opening the way for their abundance and creativity to flow in.
