Also known as setonite, African bloodstone is a variety of deep-green chalcedony with red jasper flecks — the drops of red that look like blood are really just iron oxide inclusions. African bloodstone activates the Root Chakra for strength, endurance, and energy. When feeling fearful or frail, it enhances tenacity.
