In July Desiderata we worked with The Eye of Horus, our fourth Key to the Universe. Originating in ancient Egypt, the image of the Eye of Horus is invoked for deep protection across all planes. It also symbolizes power and health. The Eye of Horus is connected to the pineal gland – our Third Eye – and place of inner knowing and psychic power. Horus was a sky god of ancient Egypt, and his eyes were said to represent the sun and moon. Incorporating the Eye of Horus in your rituals is deeply protective, and promotes good health and prosperity. This symbol also provided the ancient Egyptians with a mathematical system of measurement, with the six parts of the eye representing a specific fraction, and corresponding to the senses of sight, smell, thought, hearing, taste, and touch.
July Desiderata Contains:
- Eye of Horus Birchwood Altar Plate. Place your stones upon the plate to charge them with energy of protection and safety. ($12)

Bought it as a sample. Such a beautiful perfume. It is strong like Arx, but with a sort of more sensual and mysterious note, both of scent and energy. It definitely helps feeling more secure and invites an ancient aura, reminding me of forgotten egyptian cults…I strongly reccommend this perfume.

I’m always conflicted about leaving reviews because I don’t want the competition! Seriously, I LOVE these little alter plates and I’m always so happy when I’m able to get one before they are all gone. They are well-made, attractive and I love the small size! Happy!
