Apothecary Monthly Tools Subscription

Step through the doors of my mystical enclave into the realm of deep magic. These tools accompany our 2024 Sage Goddess Apothecary program. Picture a realm adorned with exquisite dark glass bottles and hand-labeled jars of herbs and incense, evoking sacred consciousness and personal transformation. Sage Goddess Apothecary is an online program that allows you to work at your own pace, consisting of four weekly sessions each month. It’s designed to train and inspire you in the herbal arts as a medicine keeper, way finder, stone and crystal keeper, and multidimensional healer.

We create a new set of tools for each month that’s available as an ongoing monthly subscription. This custom-designed set includes all the necessary tools for the entire month’s Apothecary sessions except Sacred Circle (there’s a separate toolkit subscription for Sacred Circle). These tools vary monthly and align with the month’s theme. To secure these tools, you must subscribe before midnight on the 15th day of the previous month.

NOTE: You must subscribe by the 15th of the month to receive your toolkit for the following month (e.g. subscribe by January 15 to receive February’s tools).

A second tool subscription is available for Sacred Circle. Click here to subscribe to the Sacred Circle tools.

The monthly toolkits are not required for you to participate in the program. However, if you want the whole experience, we recommend a subscription to both the Apothecary and Sacred Circle sets to receive tools for all sessions throughout the month.

HOW CLASS TOOL SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE BILLED

When you sign up for either the Apothecary or Sacred Circle tool subscription, you are billed for your first kit immediately. Your subscription will then auto-renew on the 15th of each month. If you start your subscription before the 15th of a given month, you will skip the first payment because your immediate payment upon subscribing has already covered this amount.

Please note: Your tool subscription will automatically renew on the 15th of each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the SUBSCRIPTIONS area under MY ACCOUNT.

You must start your subscription by the 15th of a given month to receive the following month’s tools.

About July 2024 Sage Goddess Apothecary Tools

Each month in Sage Goddess Apothecary, we work with a Goddess archetype as a sacred guide, diving deep into the lessons she brings through her mystical and healing associations. It’s an exploration of the herbs, flowers, resins, and gemstones associated with each archetype. Touching them, smelling them, healing with them, and even creating art with them.

In July Apothecary, we’re focusing on Circe, the enchantress with an otherworldly talent for mixing herbs and potions. Together, we’ll work with the tools in this set to explore the mystical and medicinal power of plants. We’ll focus on the power of potions, healing versus poison, and the role of dosage as a powerful boundary in medicine work.

Who is Circe?

In Greek mythology, Circe is a powerful sorceress. Skilled in manipulating herbs and potions, her knowledge allowed her to transform her enemies and those who wronged her into animals. Circe represents possibility, magic, and mastery. She is often shown with a wand or staff, ready to summon the great forces of nature and channel them. 

A captivating and complex figure, Circe reminds us of the transformative potential residing in the realms of sorcery, the wells of magic brewing within all of us, and the importance of boundaries and self-control in how we choose to wield our magic in the world.

You will receive the following in your kit:

Brass Pitcher with Smoky Quartz Cabochons

Size: Pitcher 4×3”, smoky quartz cabochons about 0.5” each
Stone country of origin: India

This custom-made pitcher is an enchanting addition to your home apothecary. Crafted from silver-colored brass, it features a unique but timeless design, with delicate floral vine detailing and a claw-foot base. A trio of healing smoky quartz cabochons adorns this heirloom. Consider it your cauldron, perfect for mixing, holding, and pouring your potions, tinctures, and mixtures in ritual work. 

The Properties of Brass

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc. It helps eliminate toxins in the body and boosts courage and confidence.

• Assists you with being more assertive. 
• Helps to bring out the good in people and promotes inner truth.

The Properties of Smoky Quartz

Smoky quartz is a powerful healer that absorbs the energies the body cannot take or hold on its own. It’s a protective and grounding Root Chakra stone that transforms and transmutes energies to purify the aura.

• Takes in negative or low vibrations and keeps that energy away from you.
• Some say it has a smoky color because it absorbed and trapped all the negative energies from the around world during its formation.
• Guards your space, clears your field, and keeps you grounded.

125 ml Apothecary Jar 

Size: About 4.5”

This round glass jar with a glass cap is painted a beautiful teal color. It’s the perfect vessel for blending the herbs and oils in this kit. Teal resonates with the element of water and the Throat Chakra, bringing flow to communication and learning. Think of the way an ocean moves. It flows free and wild, surging with a natural tide, allowing and not resisting.

July Apothecary Herbs

Size: Reishi mushroom vial about 4”, mandrake root and kava kava vials about 2.5”

We chose these herbs to align with and enhance the energies of our monthly themes and archetypes. They will come lovingly packaged in brown glass vials with cork stoppers adorned with the Sage Goddess Apothecary logo. For July, you will receive reishi mushroom powder, mandrake root, and kava kava. 

• Reishi mushroom, also known as the Mushroom of Immortality, is one of the oldest mushrooms known for therapeutic use. It’s a gentle yet powerful antioxidant and adaptogen that balances the hormonal system. Working with reishi mushrooms is like drinking from the fountain of youth.
• Mandrake root, the original flying herb, is known to make the spirit buoyant, aiding astral travel and projection. The whole root is difficult to source, but this is where the concentration of psychoactive, hypnotic, and sedative properties lies. Mandrake is a nightshade, healing but poisonous in large quantities.
• Kava kava is a natural aphrodisiac that promotes relaxation and eases both insomnia and feelings of anxiety. This protective plant also helps you achieve higher levels of consciousness.

July Apothecary Oils

Size: About 1 ml each 

We chose these oils to support and elevate the month’s themes and evoke the energies of the month’s archetypes. Each oil is blended with jojoba and comes in a brown glass bottle with a roller ball applicator and gold cap. For July, you will receive frankincense, plai, and wormwood. 

• Frankincense encourages spiritual travelers to drop out of their minds and let go of limitations, making space for greater connection to the Divine. Its transformative nature outlines what no longer serves you, dispersing that energy so you can experience joy and stay present.
• Plai has a fresh, herbaceous, slightly spicy aroma similar to ginger. This oil soothes nerves and promotes wellness of body, mind, and spirit. It also reduces feelings of restlessness and anger, bringing you into a state of centered tranquility.
• Wormwood is a Third Eye Chakra herb that facilitates astral travel and spirit connection. It aids in psychic awareness and divination and is excellent for prophetic dreams. It’s also cleansing, protective, and transmutes negative energy.

July Apothecary Offerings 

Size: Bag about 4×4”

Each monthly Apothecary tool kit includes an offering to add to your offering bowl during our sessions. It comes lovingly packaged in a burlap drawstring bag adorned with the Sage Goddess Apothecary logo. For July, you will receive the following: 

• A piece of osha root for healing, protection, and wellness. Often referred to as ‘bear medicine,’ osha root is eaten by bears in the wild for its natural medicinal power and burned by humans for protection against evil spirits. 
• One bat’s head root for good luck, shielding, and connecting to what lies beyond the veil. This pointy, protective talisman also enhances the potency and energy of anything you add it to. 

Herbal Oracle Cards 

Size: About 4×6” each 

Each month, you’ll receive three cards featuring stunning artwork by our talented team of designers. Over the course of the year, you’ll gradually assemble a complete herbal oracle card deck. Every card showcases both the metaphysical connections and properties of the herb alongside an oracle message tailored to each herb’s essence. You will receive cards for reishi mushroom, mandrake root, and kava kava in July.

This listing is for a monthly subscription to the Sage Goddess Apothecary Tools. Each kit will arrive lovingly packaged along with a single leaf of white sage and a card describing the stone’s properties.
