Magic of Persia

canvas2.

In ancient Persia lived a philosopher and prophet named Zoroaster whose teachings developed the religion of Zoroastrianism, where goodness and free will are integral to the battle of darkness and light – bounty and destruction. It is the Divine expectation of humans to think good thoughts, perform good deeds, and speak good words. Physical purity (goodness) is associated with spiritual purity.

Ancient Persia was a civilization that initially followed a polytheistic religion – a pantheon of gods and goddesses. One day, Zoroaster had a vision where there was only one Supreme being – one creator and lord of all wisdom and light. This pure, bounteous force of the Universe was called Ahura Mazda. Zoroaster then became the vessel through which Ahura Mazda’s teachings were conveyed, and through him, Zoroastrianism was born – a monotheistic and dualistic religion that focuses on the pursuit of active goodness, in the struggle between the opposing forces of chaos and destruction. Human beings must acknowledge their right to choose between the good spirit (Ahura Mazda) or his opposing force, Angra Mainyu – the dark spirit. Zoroastrians believe the choices we make on earth determine the judgment we receive in the afterlife.

Ahura Mazda created the Amesha Spentas – six benevolent beings to guard all creation. They are carriers of golden light – bestowers of everything good. They are Divine spirits that surround Ahura Mazda and protect the seven creations – sky, water, earth, plant, animal, human and fire – against destructive spirits. There are two other entities – Yazad (Angels) and the Fravashi (Angel Guardians). Zoroastrians have the freedom to choose their Fravashi to protect them throughout their mortal life. They believe their soul and their Fravashi are separated at the time of their birth, and part of their spiritual quest includes finding them. The Fravashi are the pure and free parts of our soul unconstricted by the physical body. Their purpose is to protect and guide the Zoroastrians in this realm, and when the person dies, their Fravashi will reunite with their soul and continue the battle against darkness in the spiritual realm.

Ritual – Invoke your Angel Guardian

In Zoroastrianism, physical purity is associated with spiritual purity; therefore, in ritual, it’s essential that we explore their realm with a cleansed body, heart, and mind.

First, burn white sage to lift the room, inviting in only the pure, positive vibrations. With your eyes closed, stay in the connected beam of light that illuminates the path to your protectors – the path of freedom connected through your soul bond.

Light your Guardian Candle to invite the Divine spirits into your sacred space, strengthened by the bond of your community. By lighting the pure, white light you attract the bounteous spirit into your heart with humility and honesty. Feel the heat of the fire that flickers against any uninvited chaos. Anoint yourself with our Dobiel Perfume, created with notes that help you travel through the lines of your DNA where you will connect with the parts of your soul that have been forgotten. This perfume was named after Dobiel, the guardian archangel of Ancient Persia known for helping the people as their exclusive ally. May this blend invoke your personal Angel Guardian.

Travel in meditation to where you connect to your past selves to find your most authentic self. Travel through the frequency of love and honesty, imagining yourself in foreign lands embraced by the wholeness of your soul. Through your distant memories, you will invoke your Angel Guardian, asking them to walk with you, protecting and humbling you for the rest of your life.  You will ask questions you didn’t know to ask and receive the answers you didn’t know you already always had.

Magic of Persia: Finding your Angel Guardian Set Magic Of Persia- Finding your Angel Guardian_1of5_6_26

This set is filled with tools intentionally chosen to help you invoke your Angel Guardian, so that you may be protected through every walk of life.

I chose lemon balm, benzoin, and balsam copaiba as the key notes for my Dobiel Perfume, named after the guardian archangel of Ancient Persia. Lemon balm, also known as Melissa true, is used for prophetic dreaming and helps the user find a meditative center. Known to ward off evil, this herb also offers gentle, yet strong spiritual protection. Benzoin is used for focus and psychic protection during astral projection and channeling. It awakens the mind for inspiration and helps us reach higher levels of consciousness. Balsam copaiba supports us emotionally by healing old wounds and traumas. Its scent allows us to remember what has been lost over time while also keeping us present.

Each bottle of my Dobiel Perfume is infused with a labradorite chip stone to further amplify its properties of infinite possibility. Labradorite is the stone for new beginnings and cosmic or spiritual rebooting. This gemstone is ideal for amplifying your clairvoyance, telepathy, psychic visions, astral travel, access to the Akashic records, past-life recall, and communication with your Spirit Guides.

Included in this set is one Guardian Candle hand-poured with white wax to represent purity, and infused with a pearlescent mica chip stone to amplify intentions of joy, healing, and freedom.

You will then receive one stone set which includes tumbled blue aragonite to represent Amesha Spentas, the great six benevolent Divine entities in Zoroastrianism; one tumbled black onyx to represent Fravashis (Angel Guardians), and one tumbled pink tourmaline in matrix to represent Yazatas, Angels.

Blue aragonite is known to stimulate your Third Eye, Throat, and Heart Chakras, creating a vibrant bridge between feeling, expression, and intuition. Blue aragonite also teaches patience, offers soul wisdom, and helps those in healing professions empathize with others while protecting their own energy fields.

Black onyx is a stone of inner strength, persistence, willpower, and concentration. It reduces stress and helps you think more positively. Black onyx purifies your thoughts and inner monologue, and can truly change your life. Because as we think, so we believe and behave.

Pink tourmaline strengthens the link between the Heart and Crown Chakras, opening the pathway for infusion of the heart with the highest Divine energies. It turns you into a beacon of loving and healing energies, making it more difficult to attract negativity and influencing you toward greater kindness and tolerance.

And finally, you have the options of receiving a gorgeous piece of SG canvas art with your set or a custom wooden artwork adorned with Sari silk. These stunning pieces were both designed right here at SG Headquarters to help you invoke your Fravashi in ceremony and in your own sacred space.

MAGICAL SABBATICAL 2018 RETREAT

IMPORTANT: DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL UNTIL YOU RECEIVE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM SAGE GODDESS ON JULY 16. TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE STARTING JULY 9 AT 11AM PDT.

Sisters – We have been journeying through A World of Magic this year, and many of you have been with me for much longer. Together, we activate and integrate magic in ritual and in our daily lives. We support each other with open hearts and allow ourselves to be seen. Our divine sisterhood is sacred to me, and I’m so thankful for each of you and how you hold this space with me in meditation, discussion, prayer, and intention. We get real and we go deep! In light and shadow, laughter and hard times, we hold each other steady and lift each other’s spirits. Our virtual connection is powerful, but there’s something extra special about being together in the same physical space. This is our time to step away from day-to-day existence and retreat into soul exploration, Elder Council, drum circle, and so much more. I’m so excited to share this experience with you!

This retreat will be held October 25 and 26 at Sage Goddess HQ.

Attendance is limited to 75 people who must have an active Sabbatical membership now, and uninterrupted through the dates of the event. Friends and family are welcome to travel with attendees and attend public SG events (space permitting), but only registered attendees will be allowed to attend and participate in retreat functions.

The first 75 people to register will have secured attendance. Tickets will be on sale through Eventbrite with no additional fees starting July 9 at 11 am PDT. A waitlist will be provided for those who do not secure a ticket to this event. If you do secure a ticket but will be unable to attend, please contact [email protected] so we can offer your ticket to the person at the top of the waitlist. Those on the waitlist will receive priority for spots that open up due to cancellation.

Once you have secured your ticket from Eventbrite, retreat paperwork will be sent to you. Once you have correctly completed this and returned it to us, we will confirm your spot at the event.  Please do not make travel arrangements until we have confirmed your attendance at the retreat.

Tickets are not transferable. Sage Goddess assumes no liability for attendees at events and all attendees will be required to sign a waiver prior to attending.
