I asked my favorite gem vendor a year ago to please send me a parcel of tabular quartz when he could. One year later, here they are and they are TIBETAN! I’ve never had large pieces of Tibetan quartz before. Harder to find than usual even for gem seekers, tabular quartz is a variety of large rock crystal quartz. It is often naturally double-terminated with notches or ridges that, when rubbed, are said to release eons of wisdom to the bearer. Most refer to tabular quartz as Ice of the Gods. This variety of quartz was said to be one of the 10 gems on Mount Olympus, favored by the gods and goddesses themselves. Keep in mind that Tibetan quartz is a master healer. If you know anyone struggling with health challenges, this would be a perfect gift. This listing is for (1) large chunk of tabby or tabular Tibetan quartz (2-3″), which will come with a white sage leaf that you can use to clear energies before using. You will also receive a card describing the properties and recommended use of this stone in case you are offering it to another who has not worked with this stone before.
