I created The Magician I Ritual Set to remind you that you create your reality! The Magician card in the Tarot is the vessel and a symbol that you too are the vessel because you are magic! You manifest reality from your imagination and consciousness, according to your will. And you have all the resources needed because they’re inside you. The Full Moon on December 11 will be in Gemini, a sign ruled by Mercury. Mercury is the planet associated with The Magician. Gemini, Mercury, and The Magician are all powerful mental archetypes. Mercury, also known as Hermes and Thoth is the great alchemist, and the Hermetic Principles originate from him. Hold what you want in your mind, and transform your thoughts into the reality you wish to create. You hold the magic wand of creation. And you choose how to use it!
The beginning of any journey starts with a choice. Do you trust in the process? Do you have faith in magic? Do you actually believe? Say YES, make the choice, be clear in your thoughts, and move forward. The first leap of intention always begins with taking a risk. During this Full Moon ritual, we’ll call our magic back. It’s always been inside of you but have you trusted it? Have you let yourself see the full potential? This isn’t about what you don’t have, it’s about what’s always been inside of you! It’s time to work in service of your own desires – ego is your friend in this case. Be selfish, and really look within yourself to harness your inherent magic. The Magician relies on the tools he can find, and if something isn’t available, he creates it… and so can you! The Magician I Ritual Set was carefully crafted for this journey and for calling down the magic of December’s Gemini Full Moon. The tools in The Magician I Ritual Set:
First, you’ll receive one (1) Magical Potion Perfume Building Tools which includes one (1) dram each of blue chamomile, fir, dark patchouli, and ginger essential oils. You’ll also receive one (1) dram of jojoba carrier oil, one (1) 10 ml amber dropper bottle to mix your potion in, and one (1) blank label for the 10 ml bottle, to name your blend. This perfume is symbolic of using the tools in front of you to set intentions of creation. It will be a sacred tool for the rest of 2020 because you stepped back into your power to create it, honoring the elements, suits of the Minor Arcana, and used everything in your power to make an intentional sacrament from the magic within.
The Magician’s tools are a wand, cup, sword, and pentacle (the four suits of the Minor Arcana) and each of these oils represents one of them. Each one also corresponds with an element and intention of further creation. Blue chamomile is for Cups (water element) and corresponds with emotion, relationships, heart and soul connections, love, and the in-between. Fir is for Swords (air element) and corresponds with intellect, perceptions, communication, thoughts, and ideas. Dark patchouli is for Pentacles (earth element) and corresponds with worldly possessions, money, health, and the physical body. Ginger is for Wands (fire element) and corresponds with inspiration, creativity, ambition, and vital energy.
When pouring each of these oils into your blending bottle, you must speak to the intention behind the association. For example, for blue chamomile (Cups and water – emotion, relationships, heart and soul connections, love, and the in between), an affirmation could be: “I want my relationship with my family to be stronger.” You would then pour that essential oil into the bottle and follow the same process for the others.
Second is one (1) 11 oz The Magician Intention Candle. This candle is hand-poured right here at SG Headquarters with light grey wax and topped with patchouli leaf and a clear quartz crystal for amplification. The Magician Intention Candle is symbolic of the merging of “As above, so below” and when light meets dark. One (1) tumbled sulfur quartz. Sulfur quartz gets its yellow color from the presence of the element sulfur. Sulfur is one of the three alchemical principles, known as the Tria Prima. Please always burn candles on a heatproof stable surface, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn time for this candle is about 75-80 hours, depending on the environment. Burn times will always vary depending on the placement of your candle and the height of your wick. The longer the wick, the quicker the candle will burn. Drafty areas will burn slightly quicker. You can extend your candles’ burn time by burning them long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first burn them, they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting all the way to the edges.
