As we enter our final months of PoP training, our final tool is this: The Circle Closing candle. Some of you are familiar with the opening and closing of circles as sacred spaces in which we open ourselves to channeling our magical powers. Equally critical is the closing of our circles when we are done with our work. As we open our spaces to receiving, we must in turn close them off at the end of our ritual work. If you don’t close your circle, you remain open to energies entering your space and are vulnerable to energies outside of your Highest Good and intentions. Open portals left unclosed can remain open for decades, centuries, impacting not only your energy field but those of many others.
This candle represents much more, however; it also represents the sealing of debts and the narrowing of karmic cords. All of this, including the use of athames in addition to black candles for circle closing, will be discussed when we meet for our final Pillars of Priestessing session in late December.
Made of organic indigo and black soy wax and anointed with my Sacred Space perfume as well as my newest scent, Close, this jar candle is a ceremonial and symbolic tool to seal your circle off, all the while drawing in warmth and white light with the flame of the candle. Each candle will also be topped with eucalyptus herbs to purify and heal.
Please always be sure to burn your candle on a fire-proof surface, away from potential hazards.
Blessings of warmth and light to you, always,
Athena
