This piece was originally a part of my New Moon Enchanted Plant Wisdom: Poppy and Neroli Set, but it’s now available on its own! It was hand-carved in Western Australia just for SG from snakeskin jasper, the stone I count on in times of profound transformation. It’s the totem crystal of releasing what doesn’t belong to you, freeing you of dead weight and heavy baggage. The dragonfly is ancient; it’s 300-million years old. Dragonflies change color as they mature, earning their bright shades over time. This spirit animal symbolizes rebirth, transformation, imagination, light, and color magic. Meditate with this offering to shed the past and transform into who you were born to be!

Snakeskin jasper is a perfect companion for letting go of the past. Like a snake that sheds its skin when it outgrows it, we too must shed what no longer serves us. As you grow and change, it activates and balances the Root Chakra, keeping you stable, grounded, and protected. Some say dragonflies were once “real” dragons, in another time. They start their lives as nymphs in the water and transition into winged adults, linking them with both water and air elements. Dragonflies, with their jewel-like bodies and wings, reflect and refract light and can see ultraviolet. They remind us that we’re also light beings that can bend, shift, reflect, and shine. Since dragonfly evolves from water to air, it also teaches emotional balance and mental clarity.
