Sanguina was my scent today. It literally stays for hours and hours, morphing into a deep, sweetly spicy scent that reminds me of my favorite new age store. It’s got a slight nod to the smells of the Orient in my opinion. It’s truly amazing. Love the roller bottle too. Fantastic!

I think I will always need some of this perfume medicine. Who knew protection could make me feel so sexually confident and sensual as well. This bottle is dangerously fun in a very good way. I’m extremely pleased I bought it and will hope to replenish my supply.

I wrote this in the SG perfumery group and it needs to be here too: “I’ve had my eye on this perfume for a couple of years and always ended up not getting it, but recently I finally did. It arrived today and HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, it is GOOD. It is the *most* amazing scent, and for the first time ever I felt a really deep, inexplicably emotional response to a bottled scent. It smells like everything perfect and good and exactly right. It smells like home (if that even makes any sense). It reminds me of Arx a bit, but has a more rounded sweetness to it somehow. Oh my GODDESS, if you have been on the fence with this one, get it!! I can definitely say with absolute certainty that for as long as this perfume is made, I will have a bottle or two on hand. Sanguina lasts for hours and is both grounding and uplifting at the same time. I feel rooted into the Earth and given a boost in energy. Wonderful scent.

This perfume is everything it promised to be! I felt called to it while looking for a perfume to feel at home in my own body during my pregnancy. For other pregnant mamas, I am sensitive to smells when pregnant, and this has not bothered me at all. (I did not get it until my second trimester, just to clarify. I have had no pregnancy concerns in regards to the scent, either.) I wear Sanguina almost daily to help me feel focused and grounded, and it makes me feel so very feminine and sensual – even with my expanding belly! It is earthy and sweet, and really does stick with me for hours. I have even smelled it from the back of my neck when getting into the shower the next morning!

I missed out on this perfume a few months ago and so I immediately ordered it when it came back in stock. And I’m so glad that I did! At first it smells like a sweet Dragon’s Blood and then mellows out into the earthy patchouli base note. It has lasted for 9 hour long shifts at work without having to reapply it. It’s definitely a favorite of mine and I recommend it if you like Dragon’s Blood and other earthy scents that aren’t too over powering like some resins can be.
