I created Sang Rouge Perfume, an intoxicating blend, as part of The Shadow Trilogy Sang Rouge Mabon Set, and I received so many requests to offer it separately – so here it is! This remarkable potion embodies the essence of Mabon, the second harvest in The Wheel of the Year. Fragrant with notes of red mandarin, red ruby grapefruit, red rose, red champaka absolute, blood orange, cinnamon bark and clove, this perfume evokes the vibrant energies of our life force, and the full bounty of the harvest. As we continue the journey into shadow season, Sang Rouge Perfume will be the perfect companion to carry you into the lush autumn days ahead.
The deeper magic of this Sang Rouge Perfume
This year, I’m teaching about the symbolism of blood, or “sang” in French, as a way to amplify your own life force. Sang is metaphorical for the life that runs through us. Your red blood (sang rouge) is the living mortal blood that connects you to this Earth and your body and facilitates manifestation in the physical realm. Mabon aligns to this – our mortal lives, communities, and soul contracts for this lifetime. Red blood links to our present life and waking consciousness.
I gathered the most magical, red-hued essential oils to create Sang Rouge Perfume, which was inspired by the harvesting of fruits during Lammas. Red mandarin is cleansing and will enhance and elevate your mood. Ruby red grapefruit uplifts your spirit and energy. Red rose opens the heart and soul to deeper connections, eases fear and stress, and softens hard hearts. Red champaka absolute is full of feminine beauty and grace and will unleash passion and the goddess within. Blood orange is a mood elevator and invokes feelings of protection while facilitating the flow of suppressed emotion. Cinnamon bark stimulates physical and romantic attraction and enhances our natural psychic abilities while raising our vibrational field. Clove attracts good luck and prosperity and encourages the divine actions that bring about manifestation and abundance.
