As you do your spiritual work and explore other realms, it is important to ground yourself in a strong soul architecture. Besoms are excellent tools for this grounding and protection.
In magical traditions, besoms, or brooms, are used to sweep the energy of a space clear and guard it. They hold a protective vibration that keeps everyone in the space safe. These Samhain besoms will be especially useful in the month of October, when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is at its thinnest point. Samhain (pronounced sah-win) is the Gaelic festival that marks the end of harvest and the start of the dark winter season. As you transition into the darkness and explore the spirit realm, make sure you have your tools prepared.
The besoms you see pictured are made right here in the SG shop with sprigs of organically grown and wild-harvested white sage, topped by a 1-2” tangerine quartz point, then wrapped in beautiful black and orange sari silk ribbon. Hang them above your altar and doorways to protect your sacred ground.
This listing is for one (1) Samhain besom.
May it shroud you in safety as you walk the dark forests of fall and winter.
