Sage Goddess Ceremonial Incense is made by us in-house, and I will be using it to open our sacred aromatherapy circle each month. This blend was designed to be a ritual opening incense, and this is not a requirement for class, but I really wanted to prepare something that anyone who chooses can use it. And, it’s a way to connect us all together together through common experience.

The magic of Sage Goddess Ceremonial Incense
This incense evokes the magic of ceremony, bringing you right back to sacred temples of old. I’ve chosen herbs, oils, and resins for deep healing work and vision questing. This blend engages your Third Eye Chakra and facilitates connection with your own intuition and the voices of your elders, a key aspect of tapping into the ancient stored knowledge we all carry deep within. The knowledge of herbs and oils is one of the records stored within our Collective Consciousness, where it is awaiting your conscious connection.
The ingredients of this sacred Sage Goddess Ceremonial Incense include:
Palo Santo to clear negative vibes and bring healing
Wormwood to open the 3rd Eye and deepen level of awareness
White Sandalwood for prayer and meditation
Makko Powder, a Japanese incendiary powder, which helps this blend burn
Instructions for use:
- Because of the Makko Powder, you don’t need to use a charcoal disk. You can if you would like it to burn a little bit slower and longer.
- Place a pinch in a heatproof bowl or tray, or on your charcoal if you choose (no glass).
- Light and enjoy
This Sage Goddess Ceremonial Incense is intended to be a lighter clearing blend, so doesn’t have white sage. If you feel like you want a heavier clearing, you can absolutely smudge with a white sage bundle first. However, due to the sacred ingredients in this blend it is not necessary. But as always, do as you feel called.
AroMagic blessings,
Athena
