This is the new Gem Wise gemstone set for those enrolled in my Magical Sabbatical, Circle, and Pentacle programs. Virginia Woolf is famous for her saying that a woman must have a room of her own. I agree – but I think a woman must have a sacred space of her own, an area in which she can connect with her spirituality and find guidance, grounding, and renewal. This is the quiet, inspiring space in which your most divine tools and rituals reside and where only you are free to touch, explore, sense, and connect. Whether you are just beginning the process of creating and shaping a space, or seeking to evolve one already in place, these stones will help to open and hold sacred space. I built these sets and then charged them at the new moon to be holders of YOUR sacred space. I took them into meditation with my elders and guides and connected to the Higher Selves of those who would purchase them. I know that the owners of these sets will feel called to them, summoned to receive and work with them, guided in the placement of them in their home or work space. These are synergistic stones – gems that work more completely in union with each other than they do alone. I strongly recommend working this set AS a set, not separating or combining them with other stones.

SELENITE WAND, known for the happiness it carries, increases vibrations within a space. These higher vibrations, in turn, make us more receptive and connected to the Higher Self. This stone is one of the best to include in the creation of any sacred space, for Selenite surrounds and removes negative energy with its gentle strength. I always open sacred circle with a selenite wand.
SMOKY QUARTZ is transformative. Any negative energy within a space is turned positive with smoky quartz, a stone of cleansing and protection. Used as a stone of divination, it deepens psychic impulses. Smoky quartz will both center you in your sacred space and provide an emotional calm, making it the perfect companion for rituals. It holds negative energy away from you.
BLACK KYANITE BLADE is a staple on my own altar. This stone is a critical component of sacred spaces due to its excellent healing ability, use in space clearing, and protection from negative energy. IOLITE, one of my favorite gems, offers guidance and knowledge. Exceptionally difficult to source, iolite has a rich history of guiding its bearer throughout life’s voyages. The Vikings utilized it for opening the Third Eye prior to their journeys, and shamen today benefit from this stone’s ability to access the lower realms. One of my all-time favorite stones, red jasper grounds me in my roles as spiritual teacher and practitioner, balancing and aligning the energy within my own sacred space. It calms and focuses, clearing the mind and emotional body by returning any negative energy to its place of origin.
SHUNGITE is a stone that carries great magic. Its powerful nature lends the stone perfectly to sacred spaces, as it purifies energy and removes all darkness and evil in its path. Used by shaman, healers, priestesses, Reiki practitioners, and massage therapists, shungite is truly a magical stone.
CLEAR QUARTZ, best friend to magicians, is perhaps the most versatile stone. Beneficial for nearly any metaphysical purpose, I keep clear quartz everywhere. It heightens spiritual awareness, enhances clarity, amplifies the powers of other gems, and is the perfect stone for creating energy grids. Clear quartz is a crucial piece to include in your gemstone collection because it magnifies all energies around it.
