Carrollite is a rare and beautiful metallic crystal, which can be found growing amongst cobalto calcite all throughout the world. Its beautiful light to dark grey coloring pulls you in, especially as it sits among the pale creamy formations of calcite, which are also present in these pieces. Carrollite grows in an octahedral and cubic crystal system, as well as in compact granular form. Both systems are present in these gorgeous specimens.
Each one of these is a unique representation of carrollite growing in cobalto calcite. This is an offering for my collectors and serious gem workers. It’s a brand new stone to my shop, and it’s one that I don’t know when or if I will find more of.

There is such a story behind this stone for me that I could write a book. The short version is that a very dear love always spoke of finding the perfect stone for what I meant to them and they would call it “Carolite”.
When I did some searching and I found that a stone by that name existed I showed it to them. (I first found it in the 3rd Crystal Bible) When they read the metaphysical description they burst into tears, overwhelmed at finding THE stone with the same name and almost perfect description for what I represented in their life. From that day I made it a goal to find a piece of Carrollite for them. I found that it is not an easy stone to find.
We were seperated by very horrible traumatic circumstances and it has been a difficult journey. It has been almost a year.
When I saw that Athena had this stone available I completely broke down.
I ordered two. One for myself and the other… for love and memory and hope.
The pieces are small but powerful.
One is a perfect specimen piece and the other may not look as aesthetically pleasing but its energy is powerful and boundless.
I cannot put into words what these stones mean to me.
