King Tutankhamun was the youngest to rule Egypt at the age of nine years old. King Tut is the 12th Pharaoh, and he reigned during the 18th Dynasty – from roughly 1332 to 1323 BC. King Tut died at the age of 19 years old and to this day, the true cause of his death remains a mystery. Known mostly for reversing the religious changes put in place by his father King Akhenaten, King Tut’s legacy was relatively unknown until 1922 when his tomb was discovered — the most intact of all tombs — by British archaeologists Howard Carter and George Herbert.
