The incredible power behind these Peace and Clarity Pendant lies in the magic of blue lace agate. Agate is such a fascinating stone. This gem has been recovered at a number of ancient sites, indicating its widespread use throughout the ancient world, and the discovery of pieces of it at the Knossos site on Crete illustrates its role in Bronze Age Minoan culture. All forms of agate honor Nyx, the Greek Goddess of the Night, who is usually seen riding in a chariot, trailing stars and painting the night sky. Agate is strongly associated with Nyx and her magic because of its ability to ward off stress and keep nightmares at bay.
Blue lace agate, in particular, is often associated with Greek Moon Goddess Callisto and is a stone of calm, communication, and stability.
