First of all I’m a guy and I love them! The string that holds all the stones together is very stretchable. I didn’t know how durable they would be when I first got them, and I’ve wore pretty much just the brown one all the time. It lasted for a year! I might’ve dived into Lake Michigan with it once. Other than that, I’ve been careful to not let it get wet when I wash my hands and everything. I got home on day and the string just broke. I kept the individual stones inside of a glass and threw the string away. Now I’m wearing the black one whenever I go anywhere!
