Anuket is the Egyptian goddess of prosperity who controls the annual flooding of the Nile river, bringing the vital element needed to nourish the fields and grow the crops every season. Her name means “the embracer,” and she is a goddess of agriculture, fertility, and the hunt, as well as a protector of childbirth. She is celebrated every year in a procession along the Nile when she releases her water element energy upon the Earth, to bring life back to the lands. Her devotees would often throw offerings of jewelry or money into the river to show appreciation for her. She is often depicted having a gazelle’s head, and the gazelle is sacred to her. Sometimes she is shown wearing a crown of reeds and ostrich feathers, while carrying an ankh.

Anuket’s stones are opalized citrine and leopardskin jasper. Citrine is the number one abundance stone; it draws money like a magnet. These pieces are opalized, meaning there was a higher concentration of water in the rock when the mineral formed, giving these stones their opalescence and channeling more water-element energy into them. It is a powerful Solar Plexus Chakra stone, so it can also be used to help you find your power, and use your abilities to unlock your soul potential. Leopardskin jasper is sacred to Native Americans, who consider it their stone ally in ceremonial work. It connects us with our animal spirit totems and can be used in shamanic journeywork as well. Leopardskin jasper also helps you manage and navigate change, adapting to your circumstances while maintaining your energetic equilibrium.
May Anuket bless your soul path with the nourishment needed to cultivate wisdom, dreams, and visions, so you may be able to manifest what it is you are seeking.
