I’m so excited to share these Lammas incense tins with you! The week of Lammas is the time to take a moment to reflect. Since Lammas is also a festival of light, celebrating the last long days of the year, your ritual can be as simple as lighting incense. As you burn it, give thanks for what you’ve already grown this year, and for what remains to be gathered this fall.
Let us look back upon the first half of this year, and upon the seeds we planted. This is a good time to give thanks for the abundance we have in life, and to be grateful for the food on our tables. Lammas is a time of transformation, of rebirth and new beginnings. To celebrate, I favor simple practice. For Lammas I’ve created a series of brand new ritual kits for prosperity, health, peace, and love to offer you the tools to work with this first harvest energy. Use these tools within your harvest altar space as you prepare to honor the coming change of season. Work with these tools throughout August until September 23 – the Fall Equinox.
The magic of my Lammas incense tins
My Lammas incense comes in a gorgeous round, gold tin filled with dried goldenrod, calendula, and juniper berry. Goldenrod is an herb used for divination. Burning goldenrod will aid you in understanding your inner self, so that you may predict your future. Calendula also called marigold, is edible and medicinal. With antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, it gently cares for your body. Grown in the full sun, calendula is potent with solar energy and aids in psychic protection, psychic dreams and transformation. And juniper berry is excellent for clearing and detoxifying spaces. Once negative energies have been removed, the essence of juniper berry then adds a layer of added protection and purification. It also centers and balances your energies and helps create a space that is safe and comfortable.
Loose incense is intended to be used with charcoal discs. Add these charcoal discs to your offering for maximum effect.
Magical tip: experiment with using your smudge stick as an igniter for your loose incense. Try putting your smudge stick out, into a small amount of incense, to light and release its intention.
It’s time to develop our vision and hold tight to it, even when doubt creeps in. Well tended seeds, sown with care, will yield a potent harvest. Lammas is just a reminder of this sacred truth, along with a reward for your patience. Burn this sacred incense for your Lammas ceremony, using these traditional herbs of gratitude, courage, and honoring of the sun.
This listing is for one (1) Lammas incense tin. Yours will arrive lovingly parceled for your enjoyment and delight.
