I adore gemstone skulls. Everyone who works with me knows I love them! I offer them in the shop when I can, but I’m very selective about quality, craftsmanship, and origin. I’m even picky about the carving – the faces have to be perfect! These skulls come from Brazil and a very lovely soul who works with gifted and spiritual carvers, known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, brought them to me. The faces are perfect, beautiful, well defined. The stones are gemmy and gorgeous. And each one is palm-sized, about 2″ in size.
I have a collection of these, and skulls look awesome grouped together, so if you’d like more than one, order multiple and I will be sure to send you two or three different kinds.
The deeper magic of these gemstone skulls
We work with gem skulls because they are companions to us. They hold our secrets, carry our wisdom, and even after we die, skulls are said to hold and channel what they learned from us in life, capable of transferring that information and wisdom to others. Some people are scared of skulls because they believe they are evil or negative but remember, YOU have a skull and it’s the seat of YOUR wisdom. That’s what these represent – the commonness of humanity, the wisdom of the ancients and elders, and the magic of this beautiful season.
There are many ways you can use skulls in ritual. In the home, placing skulls in the 4 corners of a room seals and grounds the energy of the space, which is helpful for productivity. Wearing skull emblems or jewelry is also a way to harness their spiritual benefits. I prefer to work with one skull at a time, and for most work I use a crystal quartz skull, which they say connects you to all other quartz skulls on the planet via an energetic web or matrix. One Earth. One Love. And so it is.
