Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Polarity set

I am so excited to offer my Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Polarity set – the fourth set of seven on our journey through the great Hermetic principles or laws, the teachings of Thoth, god of wisdom, magic and writing. Thoth is also known as Hermes or Mercury. The Hermetic Teachings are secrets believed to have originated from the Emerald Tablet in ancient Egypt. Today, they are published in the book “The Kybalion”.

These secrets are like doorways into new ways of thinking, being, and acting that allows us to work with energy and transform our lives. Just as the alchemists of old, we too can create and transmute matter. Matter is densified Spirit. Spirit is eternal and unchanging, but its forms are forever changing and transforming. This magic is not reserved for the elite or spiritual guru – it is for anyone who chooses to learn and harness the language of energy.

Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Polarity

My fourth Hermetic Principles set is dedicated to the Fourth Hermetic Principle, Polarity. The Principle of Polarity embodies the understanding that everything is dual – all manifested things have two sides or two poles that we call opposites. It teaches that “all truths are but half-truths”. Every extreme has an equally valid extreme. Opposites are made of the same energy or nature but differ in their degree. It’s possible to move on the same scale and change poles in the same field. Imagine light and dark, or small and large – two opposites on the same scale. Love and hate are opposing degrees of emotion.

Learning to practice the art of polarization can result in the ability to change your mental state within fields of energy. There are truly two sides to everything and a broad spectrum in between. Studying this principle will lead you to a better understanding of your own mental states and the mental states of others. By applying the idea that these states are a matter of degree that we can affect, you can assist yourself and others in manifesting more positivity. Mastering your movement within fields of polarity allows you to choose where you “play” and changes your whole experience of the “game”.

Your Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Polarity set will include the following tools:

First in this set is one (1) red 6 oz hand poured Polarity Candle anointed with my Polarity Perfume. As you light this candle, pay attention to the quality of your state, thoughts, and emotions. What is up for you right now? Once you have a feel for it and can name it, identify its opposite. This can be love and hate; health (ease) and dis-ease; joy and sadness; pleasure and pain; fear and courage, etc. As an example: if you feel afraid, you are also working with courage. Now, imagine the entire field of fear and courage – with fear and courage as the opposing poles or extremes of this energy field. You are in this field! If you are in fear, move toward the other end of the field; toward courage. Allow the candle and its flame to support you as you release yourself from any stuck position and grant yourself freedom to move in the field as you desire.

After that, you’ll receive one (1) 10 ml bottle of my Polarity Perfume, created especially for this set – to help you embrace the law of extremes and dual nature of creation. With notes of lavender, vetiver, davana, and blue tansy oil, this blend will enhance your ability to repolarize within fields of energy, finding and maintaining harmonious integration.

Next, you will receive one (1) wooden heptagon (about 6”), printed with an image of the Vesica Piscis with the words “Everything is dual; everything has poles”. Vesica Piscis represents the feminine and masculine and all things polar. Each month, a wooden heptagon will be included in the Month of Magic set. You’ll want to collect them all because together, they connect into an amazing piece you can hang on your wall. We are so excited to offer this one of a kind collection.

Next, you will receive one (1) tumbled snowflake obsidian to illuminate the most hidden parts of yourself and help you integrate the shadow with the light. Nothing remains hidden from this stone. It shows you harmful, unneeded patterns that you engage in, and opens you up to change, so that you may break those patterns and heal. Snowflake obsidian teaches you to value mistakes and learn from past negativity. It surrounds you in positive energy as you face the darkest parts of yourself and bring them into the light.

And lastly, you will receive one (1) beautiful journal prompt page, printed on parchment paper. Use this page to write down your thoughts, and feel the power they hold when taking form as written words. This page was created to prompt you to incorporate the Polarity principle in your own life.
