Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Cause and Effect Set

I am so excited to offer my Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Cause and Effect Set – the sixth set of seven on our journey through the great Hermetic principles or laws, the teachings of Thoth, god of wisdom, magic and writing. Thoth is also known as Hermes or Mercury. The Hermetic Teachings are secrets believed to have originated from the Emerald Tablet in ancient Egypt. Today, they are published in the book “The Kybalion”.

These secrets are like doorways into new ways of thinking, being, and acting that allow us to work with energy and transform our lives. Just as the alchemists of old, we too can create and transmute matter. Matter is densified Spirit. Spirit is eternal and unchanging, but its forms are forever changing and transforming. This magic is not reserved for the elite or spiritual guru – it is for anyone who chooses to learn and harness the language of energy.

Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Cause and Effect

My sixth Hermetic Principles set is dedicated to the Sixth Hermetic Principle, Cause and Effect. “Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation but nothing escapes the Law.” The Principle of Cause and Effect is the understanding that nothing happens by chance or coincidence. Chance is simply a name for law not understood or recognized. We are often oblivious to the cause because our minds can’t follow everything. Only nothing comes from nothing. Any phenomena we can observe has a cause and chain of causes.

The good news is: you can be the cause, just as much as the effect! When you are a conscious part of the Law, you are no longer a blind automaton, allowing yourself to be moved around by those who love to impose their ways and wills. You can use the Law to overcome laws. The higher always wins over the lower, so when you work with higher laws, you can rise above the lower material plane. The Law always applies to both, but you can be Master rather than servant and truly create or “cause” the reality you desire.

Your Hermetic Principles Month of Magic: Cause and Effect Set will include the following tools:

First in this set is one (1) 6 oz hand poured Cause and Effect Candle anointed with my Cause and Effect Perfume. As you light this candle, acknowledge the Principle of Cause and Effect and the fact that every life event is an effect; everything happens according to Universal Law. Meditate on the flame and imagine a chess game. Are you being moved or are you making the moves? As the flame burns, imagine yourself actively playing the game of life. This candle is infused with a clear quartz chip stone to further amplify and magnetize its properties.

After that, you’ll receive one (1) 10 ml bottle of my Cause and Effect Perfume, created especially for this set – to help you understand and use the law of Cause and Effect. With notes of angelica, frankincense, myrrh, and hyssop, this blend will help you receive the wisdom of this Law of the Universe, empowering you to move into the center of your consciousness to find balance and peace. The essential oils in this magical blend are protective, purifying, healing, and known to support spiritual progress.

Next, you will receive one (1) wooden heptagon (about 6”), printed with an image of an Endless Knot with the words: “Every cause has its Effect; every Effect has its cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized.” The Endless Knot’s intertwining lines represent the connection of all phenomena as a contained cycle of cause and effect. The Endless Knot pattern is closed in on itself with no gaps, creating a symbol of great simplicity and fully balanced harmony.

Next, you will receive one (1) blue kyanite blade (about 2”). Blue kyanite is the stone of finding your sacred center. It is the only stone known to instantly align all seven chakras without conscious direction. Known as “the stone of alignment”, simply having blue kyanite in your presence will bring balance. It is a connection stone, one you can use to bring things together, within and without, finding a common frequency. This includes the integration of your beliefs, skills, and ideas. Blue kyanite is a master conductor of resonance and harmony and it will awaken this ability within you.

And lastly, you will receive one (1) beautiful 8×10 journal prompt page, printed on parchment paper. Use this page to write down your thoughts, and feel the power they hold when taking form as written words. This page was created to prompt you to consciously work with the Cause and Effect Principle in your own life.
