Really beautiful, I love burning the Oud on it. It does get hot so I leave the lid off when it’s plugged in/when I’m using it. Otherwise you would burn your fingers trying to take it off. It’s important to remember to unplug it. There is no off switch or timer from what I can tell. I have been using this instead of a charcoal disk but it definitely takes some care to get it just right. It does an ok job of burning loose incense but you have to keep shifting it to the side and adding more. You can’t just dump a bunch of loose incense on it. It has to be shaken on in thin layers then shifted to the side because it only burns the incense the plate directly touches. I tried burning Myrrh resin on it and it sorta worked a bit but it needs to be broken up into small pieces and rotated around and it takes a min. to get it going. I think I personally prefer charcoal for resins. It will (kinda) burn sage if it’s in really small flakes. I think its just a low heat so anything other than Oud needs to be rotated. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I also got some Oud and that is really what it works best with and I think it’s a good price for what it is.
