The properties of Amber
Did you know amber isn’t really a crystal at all? It’s a fossilized tree resin that can sometimes contain trapped animal and plant materials as inclusions that date back over 120 million years! It goes through a process caused by high pressures and temperatures that transforms the resin first into copal and eventually amber.
