This Tumbled African Bloodstone is a beautiful offering of wellness and restoration. Bloodstone is my favorite stone for pain relief and my go-to stone for healing of any kind. African bloodstone, also known as setonite, is primarily found in South Africa. It’s a variety of deep-green chalcedony, a crypto-crystalline quartz, with red jasper flecks. The drops of red that look like blood are really just iron oxide inclusions. If you’re feeling less than your best and could use a crystal prescription for support, this Tumbled African Bloodstone is just what the doctor ordered.

African bloodstone activates the Root Chakra for strength, endurance, and energy. When feeling fearful or frail, it enhances tenacity. African bloodstone is also protective and rejuvenating and gives you the courage to face challenges and move through difficult times with resilience and resolve.
