Bloodstone is my favorite stone for pain relief and my go-to stone for healing of any kind. African bloodstone is also known as setonite. It’s a variety of deep-green chalcedony, a crypto-crystalline quartz with red jasper flecks. The drops of red that look like blood are really just iron oxide inclusions.
Vogel crystals are named for an extraordinary scientist, Marcel Vogel (1917-1991). A properly cut quartz Vogel crystal is known to grant immediate access to the etheric body, stabilizing it and allowing light to enter from the higher realms. I cant begin to tell you how beautiful this vogel is. I was hesitant to buy as I had many bloodstone pieces for gridding and I started to use bloodstone for the arthritis in my knee and it has helped me so much that I decided to get the vogel and I’m so happy I did.
