My first stone that I loved and was attached to deeply was an obsidian-I got it in Houston when I was 6 or so. Small but perfect for my hands, it was smooth and calmed me to no end-I traveled with it everywhere for decades. For real decades. I am about to be 50.
I somehow lost it in the past few years during our move. And have been looking for one to replace it. While this is larger, it still creates that feeling of calm for me. Even more so. And honestly the size is perfect for me now.
As soon as I placed it in my palm i felt a deep sense of calm in my soul. I feel it in my heart center and it sort of spreads out from there. It is crazy bc not all stones have an effect on me. This one does. Obsidian has clearly always been an important stone for me. I can even tell when it is fake based on my reactions. I got one in a subscription box several years ago, as a necklace of sorts and when i touched it, I felt nothing. It felt dead to me. If that makes sense.
Anyways. I love the people here at Sage Goddess. The quality is tip top. Customers service is amazing. And while we might pay a tiny bit more, trust me when I say, it is worth it. I trust this store and its owner implicitly.
