Description

My Festival of Lights Set is here just in time to celebrate Hanukkah. Hanukkah, often known as the Festival of Lights, is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem after the Maccabean Jews revolted against the Romans and took back control of Jerusalem.

Hanukkah is observed for eight days and is celebrated by kindling the lights of a nine branched candelabrum known as a menorah. This Festival of Lights Set includes everything you need to infuse your Hanukkah celebration with an extra dose of magic this year.

How to use your festival of lights set

A typical menorah consists of eight branches, with one special, distinct branch called a shamash which is used to light the other eight. The story goes that after the Maccabean Jews retook Jerusalem, they only had one day’s worth of oil to rededicate the Temple. Miraculously, the oil burned for an entire eight days. End ever since, the festival of Hanukkah has been an important celebration in the Jewish calendar.

Your festival of lights set includes the following tools:

Nine candles, all lovingly hand rolled with clear quartz chip stones, right here at our SG headquarters. Eight of the candles will be blue wax, and you will also receive one special white candle that you can use to light the other eight. All nine candles in my festival of lights set will be anointed with my Festival of Lights perfume.

Speaking of perfume, you will also receive one 15 mL bottle of my new Festival of Lights perfume, a holiday blend. This comforting blend has notes of pear, cedar, vanilla, and fir. Each bottle comes with clear quartz chip stones for an added infusion of white light magic.

I know that you’ll love my festival of lights set. May it illuminate you with hope, inspiration, and joy.

This listing is for one (1) Festival of Lights set. Or if you choose, you may order just the perfume separately. Please use the drop down menu to choose as you are called. Yours will arrive lovingly parceled for your enjoyment along with one white sage leaf you can use to clear energies.

Blessings of Light,

Athena

According to family history and AncestryDNA, I’m 100% Eastern European Jewish. As in my ancestors hung out in one small corner of Eastern Europe and went nowhere else until they came to NY via Ellis Island. Over the last year or so, I’ve been connecting much more deeply with my ancestral lineage, and one of the ways I’ve done that is to add elements of the Judaic path to my personal spiritual practice (I’ve never been called to practice Judaism in its entirety–always been Pagan through and through lol). This Festival of Lights set was the perfect set for my Hanukkah rituals–I was able to follow the practice of lighting a candle each night, but with a Pagan twist. And the perfume is intoxicatingly yummy.
