In Norse mythology, Valhalla, also known as the house of the fallen, is an enormous, majestic hall ruled by the god Odin. Old Norse poems depict Valhalla as thatched with shields and spears, fiercely guarded by wolves and eagles. It’s a place of perpetual fighting.
