Rainbow moonstone isn’t actually moonstone — it’s a variety of white labradorite! Both moonstone and labradorite are feldspar minerals, but in most moonstone, we see a shimmering light play that refracts only one color at a time, known as adularescence. However, rainbow moonstone and labradorite display labradorescence, a flashier light effect that simultaneously refracts multiple colors in the spectrum. I absolutely love this moonstone. This has beautiful flash at certain points on the stone and let me tell you this is a lot bigger and thicker than I expected idk why maybe because I got another moonstone similar to this one and it’s nothing like this not only did it have such little flash that sent it back for a return and the second one wasn’t much better so this one I’m so in love with and is so beautiful the only thing is I wish the chains that they sent were a bit longer because all of them choke me and I have to buy different chains.
