You know I am deeply in touch with my Native American roots. The customs of my ancestors are a timeless and boundless gift to my spiritual practice. It is for their wisdom, their magic, their deep connection to both Earth and Spirit that I honor their traditions. This Crow Moon candle is another offering in their honor; and a beautiful way for you to bring their energy into your practice. And now you can sign up to receive a rolled full moon candle every month when you subscribe here.
Native Americans named each full moon of the year to coincide with certain seasonal activities occurring around that moon. March’s full moon is called the Crow Moon. At this time in the year, the caw of crows would be widely heard, signifying the last of the winter months. It was also known by some tribes as the Worm Moon, because the ground was warming up and earthworms would surface for the birds to feast on.
I created my Crow Moon candle specifically that you may use it to pay tribute to this gorgeous, last full moon of winter. It is crafted with sheets of goldenrod, blue-gray, and black colored beeswax, and anointed with my Full Moon perfume blend, with pieces of moonstone scattered throughout the beeswax.
This listing is for one (1) rolled beeswax Crow Moon candle.
Full Moon Blessings,
Athena
