Show veneration to your choice of these three sacred Hindu deities with these gleaming bronze plaques. They stand perfectly on your altar to honor and bring in the energies of Lakshmi, Krishna, and Kali. Each plaque is absolutely beautiful, engraved, and polished out of a lightweight but sturdy piece of bronze that was shaped by hand.
Lakshmi, the wife and energetic manifestation of Vishnu, has four arms, which represent the four pillars of human existence in the Hindu tradition. Dharma. Kama. Artha. And Moksha. Dharma has many meanings and interpretations, but can best be said to embody cosmic law or virtuous living. Kama symbolizes sexual desire, passion, love, pleasure, and affection. Artha translates literally to “purpose” or “meaning.” And Moksha stands for liberation, and can symbolize death and rebirth or self-actualization. Lakshmi. Wait until you see her; wait until you feel her commanding energy. This gorgeous Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity sparks the energies of beauty as well as an appreciation for the bounty that surrounds us.
Kali is the Mother of the Universe. The creator, and the destroyer. She has little mercy for those that battle her, but she is also the most loving and the most compassionate Hindu goddess. Kali is the goddess of death and destruction, but we do not need to fear her. For it is the death of the ego that Kali facilitates within us, something that is necessary for our spiritual growth. We call on Kali to help us destroy our ego self, the part of us that holds us back from fulfilling our Highest Self. When our ego has too much power, it blocks our connection to Source, and traps us in earthly trials often fueled by negative attachments. So Kali uses her sheer force to destroy what is harming our Highest Good.
Krishna is the complete and eighth avatar of Vishnu, the Supreme Being of the Universe and one of the most widely regarded and revered Hindu gods. Krishna is the Divine personification of love and joy, that destroys all pain and sin. He is the guardian of sacred prayers and cows. Krishna encourages the pursuit of knowledge and was born on Earth to share the message of love as religion with the Hindus.
