This is a special opportunity to own an authentic Myrrh oil from the monastery at Mt. Athos infused here at Sage Goddess with other oils sacred to Mary such as Spikenard, Lily, Carnation and of course, Rose. In Greece at the monastery where this Myrrh oil is bottled it is distilled using the same process that has been active in this holy region for hundreds of years. The art of distilling sacred oils known as anointing blends has been passed down from generation to generation.
Each bottle is said to carry blessings and the gifs of the Holy Spirit. Use sparingly to consecrate your tools, blessed your body and mind, or diffuse to raise the energy in your space.
Myrrh comes from the word, marar, meaning to be grieved or make bitter. Myrrh’s fragrance is sweet but also sharp, which reminds us of the sweetness of our redemption as well as the bitter price that Jesus paid to accomplish our salvation. Rose brings passion and compassion, while carnation brings forgiveness and redemption. Spikenard and Lily are both offerings to the Mother and represent unconditional love.
