You asked and I answered! Athena’s Top 10 All-Time Favorite Perfumes are now available in one place. I get asked all the time what my favorite perfumes are from the vast array of fragrances I offer at SG. Perfuming is one of my absolute favorite things to do, so naturally I’m always creating new scents for various intentions. These are my favorite blends thus far:
Athena’s Top 10 All-Time Favorite Perfumes
Dirty Patchouli – This blend is potent and unmistakable. The bottle comes infused with a tiger’s eye chip stone (my signature stone) for strategic wisdom, protection, and strength through life’s changes. A grounding stone for a grounding blend. The perfume itself is made with various patchouli oils and attars from around the world. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you exactly what’s in it – I have to keep this one to myself. Yes, it’s THAT good. Just try it. You’ll see.
Winter Goddess – Intoxicating woods and seductive florals were blended to create Winter Goddess perfume oil. And like all of my blends, this one is made from the purest essential oils and and fragrant essences available on Earth. The energy of Winter Goddess invokes images of great mountains at rest underneath thick blankets of snow from winter’s harsh exhale. An icy floor cracks and collapses underneath a figure’s powerful and graceful steps. There is a light, a life, and an energy: the Winter Goddess walks here, and this is her scent. The Winter Goddess lives in you, and this is YOUR scent.
Portal – This is a perfume unlike any other in the SG collection. It’s entirely pure essential oil and resin absolute based, deep and a little heavy, but yet light and intoxicating. It will linger on your skin, your clothes, in your hair. This isn’t a perfume if you’re just looking for a pretty scent; this is medicine if you want to walk a deeper path. It takes you THERE.
Amatus – Amatus is the Latin word for loved or beloved, and that’s what this oil is designed to evoke – that feeling of warmth, of being held, of falling a little bit head-over-heels into a soul connection. The blend is proprietary but does include Bulgarian rose, damascus rose, vanilla bean, sandalwood, and orange blossom (it’s bottled with a tiny piece of rose quartz, the stone of love, just to take this all the way to the love edge!). The combination of notes is warm and sensual, which is what a love oil should be in my opinion. Wear as perfume or use to anoint sacred candles.
North Star – I created my North Star Perfume. To harness the power of this precious star and apply its guiding force to your life. It is a combination of my perfumes North and The Star, a deep and mystical blend of woodsy trees, exotic florals and a note of bergamot to deepen the blend. The scent is deep, a little sweet, but also spacious and fresh, and it’s bottled with a rutilated quartz chip stone for added magic.
Priva – You’ve asked me what MY favorite combination of oils is, and here’s how I carry mine, in a purple vial with sparkly black cap, a roll-on I throw in my bag for magic on the go. It’s a mix of 6 different Sage Goddess scents that I love, bottled with pink tourmaline, and will not be an ongoing offering. Just a fun little way for you to try my favorites, especially if you’ve been unsure what fragrance to choose. Among my favorites in here are rare and expensive Desidera, Fortuna, a retired scent called Venus, a private scent called Ultra, and Pythia.
Dea – Dea means goddess in Latin, and this is the first perfume I ever made and the only one I wore from age 16-25. It begins with tuberose, the Hawaiian flower that was once the exclusive property of royalty or ali’i. The tuberose gives way to patchouli and lands atop bergamot, with all its citrus vibrancy. It rounds out with ancient sandalwood and yields ultimately to tonka bean and patchouli. I told you, it’s deep and layered, like the goddess herself.
Transition – This is a blend for those times of change, and one to talk you down the path of your life, and help you heal old transition wounds and anticipate future transitional moments, so you can hold space for peace and happiness around these moments. With notes of vetiver, raw amber, patchouli, benzoin, and Jordanian copal, this blend grounds and holds you in a safe space during those moments when you just don’t know what’s going to happen next.
Elder Council – This ceremonial potion is designed to be worn as anointing potion when entering that very sacred space of the Elder Concil – the place outside of time where our guides, our ancestors, reside and await connection and communion with us. This blend will shift the energies in your sacred space and prepare you to engage in a magical way. A combination of more than 20 sacred oils including Artemisia Californica, Mugwort, White Sage, Blue Sage, Thuja, Myrrh, Frankincense, Pinon Pine Resin & Ceremonial Tobacco are found here.
All The Things – I finally made the perfume that I’ve been wanting to make for a long time. It’s a pure essential oil blend that contains essential oils known historically to bring love, balance, peace, harmony, fertility, joy, abundance, wealth, protection, safety, security, grounding, restful sleep and more AND it’s a blend of oils, like coriander, oakmoss, patchouli, and bloodorange to name a few, which I’ve never united before in any SG perfume. It’s one of my newer blends, and it’s powerful and pure.
I’m offering these blends as three different options: Top 3 which consists of Dirty Patchouli, Winter Goddess, and Portal. The Top 5 Collection has Dirty Patchouli, Winter Goddess, Portal, Amatus and North Star. the Top 10 Collection has all ten. When you purchase these you are saving at least $5 on every bottle!
