Creativity. Vision. Intuition. Hunger. This dark, heady fragrance reaches down deep to the caverns of your untapped abilities and summons your latent mastery, especially in the face of obstacles. The deeper magic of my Arachne perfume
Do you know the story of Arachne in Greek mythology? Arachne was a mortal girl, and a prolific weaver on a loom. She was so talented and confident in her ability to weave, she challenged Athena, goddess of crafts, to determine who was the better weaver. Accounts of who won vary, but in the end, Athena turned Arachne into a spider. (Hence, the origin of the classification arachnid.) Whether a blessing or a curse, the girl could weave to her heart’s content from then on.
This blend captures that mystery, that confidence, and that skill. It’s thick with the earthy scent of tree resins, pinon being one of them. These deep attars are then interlaced with patchouli, sandalwood, and musk, and mixed with a light touch of geranium to give it a subtle sweetness. I’ve infused this perfume with an obsidian chipstone to offer protection and grounding.

This is lovely. I wear it when I study at night because it makes me feel committed and wise. I am able to focus better and remember my path. Patchouli can be overpowering, but not in this perfume. It blends perfectly with the other ingredients.

She arrived today. I have had a URI for 2 weeks,yet I NEEDED to smell her,so just very lightly touched a finger to the roller top and sniffed…WOW..I felt the stirrings of days gone by when I mightily danced the fire circle. Yes,it brought me there. Yes,I do love this scent! Thank you!

This is the most incredible fragrance. Deep, resin-y, complex, mysterious… So beautiful and complicated, as multi-layered as the mythic figure it represents. I’ve gotten many compliments while wearing this magical scent. It weaves quite the spell.

I love to work with Arachne. It just brings such mystery and a sense of entering the web of the Universe where all the answer lie waiting to be uncovered. I use this potion rarely but it is BIG MAGIC for me as it allows me to uncover what is hidden in the depths of my unconscious mind.
