These skulls were custom hand-carved just for Sage Goddess and we were so excited to pick them up here at the Denver Gem Show! These are simply wonderful! I only ordered a limited amount of these beauties and I won’t have them back again. Containing over 400 million years of Gaia’s history, ancient ammonite is a spiral-shaped, fossilized shell that symbolizes continual evolution and growth. You can see the iridescence in each one of these meticulously carved skulls. Ammonites are some of the oldest organic matter on the planet. Once thought to be the petrified remains of snakes, ammonite is actually the remains of ancient aquatic mollusks, or shellfish. Their name comes from the Egyptian God Ammon, or Amun, and was believed to be a symbol of the deity. Ammonite is a multipurpose stone. It aids those on their spiritual path as the spiral symbol represents continual evolution and growth. Ammonite helps to stimulate your life force and can be worked with to activate the kundalini energy that sits dormant at the base of the spine.
