Lakshmi. Wait until you see her. Wait until you feel her commanding energy. This gorgeous Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity is not just the centerpiece for your altar – she is the centerpiece for your entire ceremony room.
I placed her at the center of my altar and could not take my eyes off of her. Surrounded with candles, sacred herbs and flowers, magical stones, and one of my most powerful wands, she practically glows. Her presence sparks the energies of beauty and an appreciation for the bounty that surrounds us.
How to work with the energy of Goddess Lakshmi
Lakshmi, the wife and energetic manifestation of Vishnu, has four arms, which represent the four pillars of human existence in the Hindu tradition. Dharma. Kama. Artha. And Moksha. Dharma has many meanings and interpretations, but can best be said to embody cosmic law or virtuous living. Kama symbolizes sexual desire, passion, love, pleasure, and affection. Artha translates literally to “purpose” or “meaning.” And Moksha stands for liberation, and can symbolize death and rebirth or self-actualization.
As this magnificent deity inhabits your sacred space, may she remind you of these Highest codes of living, and bring the magic of each one into your practice. Read more here about more ways to use your sacred SG tools.
This listing is for one (1) hand-painted statue of Lakshmi, which stands 7” tall and 5″ wide.
Blessings of virtue, love, fortitude, and release,
Athena
